I know next to nothing about lacrosse but do enjoy watching it. Doesn’t look like it has been posted so for everyone in the DMV area, the Hoos are playing Maryland at Audi Field on Saturday. Part of a triple-header. I plan on going. Audi Field is a pretty nice spot (go to a lot of D.C. United games).

Currently can’t buy a break. Maryland dominating… down 10 - 5 midway through second. Faceoffs and turnovers killing us.
He hasn’t been very good this year.

It was a total destruction… lost 23 - 12… nothing worked today unfortunately.
But wait, everyone was mad we fell to #2 when we hadn’t lost. What a ridiculous approach by the voters!
Or maybe the voters were right and what Maryland had done was a little more impressive, haha.
It makes sense after the game… but what was the justification when it happened?
That we barely won against High Point who Maryland had literally just beaten by 8 the week before and looked meh to start (then we picked it up, obviously). Results against a common opponent early made for an easy comparison. Pretty sure that was the justification.
Forgot to update the thread last night after the game, but UVa pretty much dominated again today against Notre Dame… however not at the face-off circle similar to Maryland.
If UVa wants to get the National Championship three-peat… something needs to change at the face-off circle.
Does LaSalla have a wrist injury or something? He was utterly dominant on face-offs last year and now UVA is losing to everyone. It’s a colossal swing despite being the same guy.
I don’t know… but Braun is having the same issues winning and they have completely different techniques. No idea what is going on.
