Doubt it. Maybe he’ll retire at 57 instead of 59 but the idea Tony will retire early predates NIL and the portal

His retirement won’t happen soon. Tony told Imac when he was being recruited that he would be here. That’s 2 years but he is very competitive and I think he may stay longer

Help me understand the roster that we have our staff put together. So they messed up thier own bed with the players they recruited. It seems to me even if they got a 5 star they would find a way to reshirt him. Just like in life you can’t pick bad partner after bad partner, then blame them for not being what you thought . Sometimes you have to look in the mirror and realize im not making sound decisions on who im picking.

Italy Trip

Final game thoughts: I spent the day hiking around the area from Rapallo to Portofino and back to Santa Margherita Ligure. The hike was awesome, a trail through the hills between houses and olive trees. I took a dip at Paraggi beach where every inch of the 10 yards of public beach was full and 90% of the private beaches’ chairs were empty. I saw Portofino’s many yachts and lookie-loos. I don’t get the appeal. I got to the gym more than an hour before the game and the Serbs were shooting. UVA …

These threads on here today are a little disgraceful. You don’t get every recruit and sorry but all the answers aren’t available the minute you stomp your feet. Yes, UVA is recruiting Trent Perry. Will there be others? If they don’t get him, sure. You didn’t know Mack was even a possibility until Tuesday. It’s all week to week.

I’m in that camp too. Somebody mentioned his contract expires in 2025-26, not sure that’s right. But if so, will be curious if there’s an extension coming. Doesn’t really matter he’s here as long as he wants.

I think a lot depends on him having teams that he looks forward to coaching, especially young players in the pipeline he’s excited about. And if there’s any signs of some sort of fix to the current transfer/NIL mess. He’s not going to deal with that endlessly.
