He gives me next gen Caleb Love vibes. Which I need in my life tbh.
Todayâs gonna be lit with the dream targets list LOL
Boogie doesnât make many but that never stopped him from shooting
high ceiling/solid producers in less than ideal ACC team situations all star team
Jaeden Zackery
Isaac McKneely
Dontrez Styles
Maliq Brown
Andrew Carr
4 3pt shooters, good defenders and athletes. Aww man. And Jaeden Dontrez and Carr all 1 year rentals (but much much better than the 1 year rentals we have been getting) and give leeway to the young guys in following seasons. Gertrude 6th man starter minutes like Hunter off the redshirt.
Say what we will about the Hoos, but players saw the roster and the team and the Hoos made the tourney, were almost in the ACC finals, plus finished 3rd regular season. Players know if the Hoos had some better pieces, we would have been soooo much better. There are going to be players that will take the chance on the Hoos and weâll be better for it next season.
How many years left? Iâd take him.
No reason for this not to be posted in the public thread too:
Glad it wasnât Tech. Now I can root for him.
He has won a lot of hardware already tooâŚ
Iâm #1! Iâm #1! In fairness, it was a good post along a number of dimensions!

Potential bounce back?

not great from the line in any of his 4 years, and the 3 pt % is not great, however he had multiple games where he took a lot (in their last 6 games he was 2-5, 3-5, 5-8, 2-5, 0-3, 0-4).
did have 31 in a 3OT game vs Drake.
still, the free throws were below 60%⌠it would be great to at least be 14th in the ACC in FT% this yearâŚ
Wanna throw a PG name out there for consideration: Dwon Odom as a COVID grad transfer from Georgia State. We recruited him some back in 2019 for the 'ship that ultimately went to Reece. Odom went to Xavier for two years, then dropped down to Georgia State the last two years. 4.6 apg vs just 1.7 topg, so runs a clean offense (Georgia State had the lowest offensive TO rate in the Sunbelt), 3rd best Ast Rate in his conference, 82% FT%, double digit scorer each of the last two years, super low volume on 3âs so that is a red flag, only 14 3PAâs all of last year, but does get to the FT line and score pretty well at the rim. Georgia native, so in our geographical wheelhouse.
Looks like he visited West Virginia over the weekend and they couldnât close him. The fact that the Drake coach (now at WVU) wants him is encouraging in my opinion.
He torched Drake!
I know, which is great, but also just the fact that the coach was in the same league as the kid for two seasons would suggest that he thinks he can compete with the big boys in the Big 12.
That to me has more value than where any of these ranking services might have him slotted on their transfer lists.
