At some point, probably not too far away, Tony is going to say to himself that this isnât what I signed up for. We pretty much all know it too. Ironically, that may not impact portal recruiting much but it wonât help at the hs level.

My guess is heâs be a Boise St fan if he found as receptive an audience there as he did here. He also never struck me as much of a UVA fan. More of a UVA talker.

Anybody have any idea whatâs going on in Bleaksburg? As of now, they have three players remaining on the roster and two incoming recruits, which means they need 5-6 portal guys simply to have enough warm bodies to field a team next year.
All I know is they are about to become by far the worst power conference mens/womens collective basketball program in the span of about a week and I couldnât be happier about it

Somebody said theyâre shifting NIL money away from other sports to football. I donât know if thatâs true, but I kind of wonder if it is, if it isnât just future NIL for new guys but also NIL for current players. This is the type of thing you could imagine seeing if every player was just informed their salaries were being cut by 80% going into next year.
But that is pure unadulterated speculation. Doubt itâs the case, but this is weird.

It is true. They also had to give so much money to football players who were projected 3rd, 4th rounders to get them back for one more year. Their basketball players are getting basically nothing in NIL.
