No, it was obvious some havenāt observed and I would hate for the player at hand to see the distasteful comments. You would have to know all the players to understand them. Because I didnāt discuss basketball during the off season I guess my comments arenāt true. āOā, if you are reading this, the people who know you and have supported you since your high school days are here for you. Thousands of us.

Iām bored and need a distraction from work. So Iāll entertain thisā¦ No one said anything against Olivia āOā Or anyone else. I just asked to hear the other side of the story. Or at least hear the story from the source. Itās not our of reason to ask for a second source.

No one in this thread has said one bad word about āOā. I have spent time around the coaches and players, and that is why I find what youāre saying hard to believe. To suggest this staff would be verbally abusive to one of their players would contradict a lot of not only what they say but how they act in my observations.

Agree. Iāve spent a little time around the program and never saw anything that matches the vague description of what Oliva experienced. Itās not crazy to ask for some evidence or some context.
Right now all I have is someone overheard something that was said to Olivia. And it was confirmed by talking someone who knows her.

Tbh sounds like the kind of blowup that just happens sometimes and youād rather it didnāt but you make up and move on. Would need a much fuller story to conclude more than that.

Exactly (Man I need my meetings to start so I have something to do), It feels like a blow up between a frustrated player and a staff trying to get them to understand/listen. Happens all the time. But without context or the full story itās impossible to know if itās that simple or if itās Virginia politics at play.

I mean, no oneās saying āit 100% didnāt happenā, because we werenāt there. And no oneās disputing that O is a great kid and player. Its just that Coach Mox has a positive track record built up over the last couple of years, so itād make sense to see where this goes before immediately jumping on the āUVA coaches are abusive and retaliatoryā bandwagon.

I was talking about my own postsā¦ I thought about it and realized it would just probably cause more division. I was able to reach out to a family member and they advised to just delete and pray. So thatās what I did. And I really respect her inner circle for trying to maintain her confidentiality.
