Rumors were that IU had been working with Mestemaker hard but then things soured in the last week for whatever reason. Sounds like he is the target especially since Sorsby seems Texas Tech bound.
Sounds like Raiola and Miami are pretty flirty right now too.
The two schools I’m really curious to see what they end up doing— Oregon and Tennessee. Oregon may be the top transfer QB destination recently and Moore is looking like an early entrant now. Tennessee saved a year of Nico’s pay this past year and could really use a QB.
Miami is gonna be a player in the QB market. Heard there’s a lot of mutual interest with Lagaway.
My guess is the Canes are looking to get off the 1 yr rental cycle

I am both aware of and very guilty of the Cignetti trap that is going to give a ton of people unreasonable expectations for their program and new coaching hires but also… why not us???
I wonder if some of the top transfer QBs might like the idea of playing in the ACC instead of having to go against SEC/B1G defenses. Louisville and Miami are in the mix for some of the top guys. If you’re not a Mendoza caliber player, maybe there’s some sense in avoiding the SEC/B1G gauntlet (assuming the money is the same).
Last I read about the ODU QB was that Chesney had the inside track to bring him out to UCLA. Can’t remember the Oregon rumor off the top of my head.
Mendoza may be the best worst player I remember watching in a long time. He reminds me of the girlfriend Anne from Arrested Development. I know he’s there, and I see the stats and the plays and they’re good, but I instantly forget him when I think of QB’s I’ve enjoyed watching this year, or who made an impact of me.
Probably just guess but saw an ON3 podcast yesterday that linked Chiles to Nebraska. Might have been more of a best fit thing rather than a prediction.
