šŸ€ 2025-26 In-Season ACC Thread

I’m thinking better for the current bottom 4 who are all worse than 100 Net to only beat each other - maybe a few close losses to others… that gives the top 14 a fighting chance to make the madness. Any of those 14 and probably even top 12 who lose games to the bottom 4-6 teams are likely out.

Uh what??

ND up on Stanford 22-17 at halftime, just barely squeaking by the halftime total points of the ND-Stanford football game this season.

Haralson has not been good for them. Hasn’t made a 3 on the season (and only has taken 10 in 13 games) and his usage rate has gone into the stratosphere with Burton out (above 40% in each of the last 4 games):

This is random, but I find it funny that there was so much hand-wringing and distress on this forum after UVA barely lost to a ā€œbubble teamā€ back in a meaningless October scrimmage in Nashville. Now, Vandy is undefeated, #11 in the country, and a projected 2 seed in Lunardi’s bracketology. It’s almost like overreacting to October scrimmages is a pointless exercise….

Kind of like when UK fans were ready to cut down the nets after their October scrimmage v Purdue. Their season has been… interesting.

I understand Wake has not played well of late, and I think State wins today, but a 9.5 point spread feels high. Conference game, and Juke Harris’ ability to absolutely go off, makes it plausibly a close game.

Now that I said that Wake will get blown out.

Vandy may have been our best game so far (Texas is the other contender, but I’m not even sure they’re good).

Not that they couldn’t beat us, but I’ve watched a few games and have really not been impressed by NC State. 9 seed ass team

It’s going to be the first true road game (with students)… so it could be hard no matter what ACC team we were playing if they get down early I think.

Looks like a lot of ranked teams are struggling with these early conference games coming out of the holidays. Duke barely won at home against GT, Louisville lost at Stanford tonight, and (not ACC) Gonzaga just went to OT on their home floor against Seattle. It’s not just us!
