SMU might be the best example of a team that has the biggest disparity between performance on the road vs. home.

In a way, I feel bad for any future Virginia basketball coach because Ryan Odom is going to put up a wildly insane first year win total and this record will never be broken.

SMU/Miami are both in right now (and not first four)
VT and Cal are both still alive, and frankly if Stanford gets hot they arenât out of the question either (though this would mean knocking Cal out)

SMU is 5-6 in their last 11 games. They just lost to Syracuse. Looking at their remaining schedule, at best theyâll go 3-3; just not good enough. They have time to turn it around but theyâre trending in the wrong direction.
