The beauty of a smaller conference is a home and home. It was awesome when we had 8 teams @DFresh11 in the ACC. And then 9 when FSU joined but we always did a home and home.

TDR getting paid $8M and Sam only $6M though has generated beef between the two. I hope they spread it around next year.

Up for debate how credible I am but Iād place this yearās payroll between $15-16 mil with a fairly high degree of confidence. Budget probably isnāt the right word because the so-called budget going into last spring was $8-9M and that previously would have been an outrageous spend. They got guys, then raised more money to get more. Thatās how it worked, at least for one year.
Totally different environment now with revenue sharing and outside deals needing to be approved. But at the same time, Iād pay attention to last year as an example of how no one knows what the market will be this time either. Or how the rules will be enforced. Seriously doubt UVA will be at any disadvantageā¦once it gets established how far schools can push with outside deals, likely further than many people currently assume, everyone will find the sweet spot and be on fairly even ground.

Hope this is a joke. What an awful idea if not - team needs momentum back after 2 lackluster performances and weāre playing a rival game against a team that already beat us and is fighting for a NCAAT appearance. I want to crush their hopes and dreams, and make up for the most egregious ref show loss I can recall in recent memory.

Seeing complaints from Duke fans about the timing of the games. Apparently weāre getting their preferred noon start time this year. Why preferred? More time to rest between games, or something. I guess the 1 seed traditionally gets the noon slot.
