Currently on KenPom Duke leads the conference in projected record at 14-4 and then there are seven teams at 11-7 or 12-6. Deep conference

Theyā€™ve been able to make-up some of the offensive slack without him by playing bigger lineups that do better defensively, but you can see where he is missed: 12.9% TO rate with him, 18.9% without him, 42.5 FT Rate with him, 32.7 without him. Hoop Explorer has Kobe Rodgers as the main PG when Brown is off-court, but Rodgers has a 30% TO rate in those minutes. Aly Khalifa also has a crazy TO rate with Brown on the bench (44%); he hasnā€™t really been the same guy post-injury.

Duke is like NC State in that I donā€™t get their defensive analytic Rankings being so positive. Is it moreso players just in their own heads and afraid when playing big bad Duke?

Because fundamentally they are not good. Cam Boozer is a literal cone on defense as a few twitter posters put it

We should also be able to avoid foul trouble hiding De Ridder on Maliq Brown on the defensive end to avoid fouls.

Itā€™s really sad to watch iMac just run down to a corner and stand there while the other four Louisville players run the offense. Not sure who I would ā€œloseā€ off the current UVa roster to have kept him, but if anyone should have finished out his career as a Cav, it was him.
