Yeah - I did OK in Cinema. I watched the movies but rarely went to class, so my analysis was unique (since I had no idea what his analysis had been). My hallmates were unhappy that I got a B+ while they got B-ās (b/c theyād been in class & repeated back to him what heād said as their analysis). But Jazz was the lowest grade Iāve ever gotten in my life at any level. Caveat is that both classes were taken during my 1st year. I hadnāt exactly found my groove as a responsible college student yet.
Maybe? Sounds familiar?
This. It does nothing for the brand either, imo to fly under the radar stacking wins against also-rans before conference play.
It does if we get run out of the building which we may have given the entire roster just met like 3 months previously. If noncon was in Jan/Feb Iād agree. Like it or not, having a number next to your name matters with how youāre covered
We hung with a very good Vandy team in November. We beat a undermanned but good Nova team right after that.
And we lost to a meh VPI team about two weeks ago.
So Iām not totally bought in on the premise (that playing good teams would have backfired)
I briefly started to look at some charts of SOS vs. team performance, but of course teams that expect to be better tend to schedule tougher, so the chart doesnāt tell you much.
FWIW on the Torvik charts, we have steadily improved on average, and thatās mostly attributable to Defensive improvement. Which matches the eye test.
Our offense has been steadily good on average but all over the place game to game.
Butler got a 5 point bump up in Net with a nice 14 point loss to Xavier

Wait, is it going be Tony Bennett court or Dean and Markel families Coach Tony Bennett court?
Hell yeah. Snagged my UNC ticket two days ago.
āFormer Dean and Markel Families Menās Head Basketball Coach Tony Bennett Court at John Paul Jones Arenaā has a nice ring to it.
I think being 15-2 in mid-January is helpful for the brand
Just like how our complete football stadiumās name rolls off the tongue eh?
An abundance of words shows off that we are a strong academic institution.
Which brings up an interesting question: How come we havenāt named anything after George Welsh? Or have we, and I just missed it?
There is a street on Grounds.
But, yeah, he deserved more than that.
Shoutout to all the anonymous donors who donāt agree to or want their names slapped onto something like the head coach. Weirdos.
