He will still have leverage after ‘27 season and hasn’t been in any top 200 mocks. I would expect he would choose to play one more year in college and see if he can get into the first six rounds next year. He is draft eligible so theres always a risk.

He had injuries his first two seasons. I feel like both he and scouts might want to see him play another year healthy.
From a talent perspective he’s definitely someone that could be an early round guy so like it’s been said always a risk.

Not a guarantee that a player attending the combine gets drafted (Stroman, Yoder and Enis participated last year), but Clatur being invited definitely increases the chances that he doesn’t make it to college. He’s been creeping up draft boards the past couple months, would currently have him as the second most likely player from our HS class to go pro behind Lowrance.
Also very interested to see how the potential of a 5/5 rule impacts the draft process for MLB organizations and draft decisions from third year players. Third year college players could be tougher signs going forward if they’re granted another year of eligibility and leverage, wonder if that incentivizes teams to take more risks on fringe HS prospects.

Clatur may be creeping up draft boards but weren’t Stroman, Yoder and Paone more highly regarded last year than he is this year?
Stroman was definitely higher. Yoder too but not by much, and it was known early on that he would be a very difficult sign for MLB orgs. Paone it depends on where you look, he was in MLB.com’s top 200 which Clatur isn’t currently listed on but Clatur has a higher ranking on Baseball America’s list than Paone did last year.
Will be looking out for MLB.com and Kiley McDaniel’s updated rankings in the leadup to the draft to see if Clatur is included.

To me, Clatur looks like he needs a good deal of work on his mechanics. His delivery is a bit wild. But he’s got a ready made professional frame and is a guy with obvious velocity left to squeeze out.
RHP Robbie Lee from DIII Denison University is showing up as a portal commit for us on 64analytics. He was originally listed as a commit on BA’s transfer list like a week ago, but it was taken down for some reason. Same thing happened with Crosland.
6’4, 200 lbs. Grad Transfer from DC. This season he went 8-0 with a 3.15 ERA in 16 appearances and 14 starts. In 74.1 IP he gave up 67 H, 26 ER, 30 BB, and had 85 K’s. Denison this season went 51-3 and won the DIII national title.

Denison’s IG account is private, so you can only see his bio. Hasn’t added UVA Baseball to it yet. By virtue of it being private, there’s really no indication of how active he is or isn’t either.
But 64 Analytics is highly accurate. And Jeff White just started following him on Twitter. For a baseball player, that is essentially confirmation.

How solid is this guy? Seems to have had an awesome year, but I always get worried with D3 guys making a huge jump to the ACC.

Not just won the series. We run ruled them, beat them 9-2 in Game 2, and blew a lead in the B9 which would have given us the sweep.

I think he could but his arm and range definitely fits better at short. Would also be a good CF option with his 80 grade speed but our OF is pretty crowded.
