Yeah, I imagine if we were doing something like that this year we’d all be pretty tense about the outcome. However, even if you have some horrible losses (Michigan State), it gives you an opportunity to get some good wins, and it puts you in the national picture. Good for the brand to be talked about as a major program. I don’t know, I’d love to play Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas et al. each year, just for some variability and exposure.
Its possible that UNC could get exposed tonight
Oregon still undermanned (constant theme for them last few years) but up 14-4 on syracuse early… (and they have had so many open looks too. It could easily be worse for cuse)
Louisville battles Pepperdine today. The last game they were favored in (as of last week, no idea if line changed)
edit: cuse came back
Dan Bonner calling the Louisville game. neither announcer at the game. Hated that yesterday. The crowd was muted (rewatched the 2nd half, was hoping the hyped JPJ would make it even more hype but it sounded duller because the audio was from the commentators)
Need to get Cory calling games from home. He’d have to correct the referees by text.
Exactly why I hate the guys in studio. It kills the atmosphere
This is the worst basketball game that Ive ever watched. And I was there in person for 48-38 Wisconsin 2013.
Cuse giving Oregon the business on a neutral floor. Wonder if that’ll help our NET tomorrow
My weekly ACC power poll, again based on results but also what I think the team really is and could still be:
- UVA
- Clemson
- UNC
- Duke
- Miami
- NC State
- Wake Forest
- PIttsburgh
- Virginia Tech
- Syracuse
- BC
- Georgia Tech
- FSU
- ND
- UL
You can still get Virginia as the ACC conference outright winner at +550 ($10 bet pays off $55).
Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
Here’s the rest

Very sad. I think he was just diagnosed in March. Eric was always a great dude. Thankfully I saw him few years ago in JPJ as he was doing radio for UNC and back in Chapel Hill
RIP big man
Cancer sucks. Lived a full life but still too young.
Damn, RIP. Always seemed like a great guy.
He was
Oh, damn, he was still young.
