Weekend ACC Games
Pitt @ NC State - Really interesting game here. Pitt while likely not an NCAA tournament team is better this year with lots of experience although not much continuity. They have no bad losses yet which is saying something for a Capel squad. A win here would start to get them some attention. State is actually in decent shape right now. No bad losses a couple of NC wins that could standup and be Q2 wins. But this is a game they need to win. I will go with NC State in a close one but dont be shocked if Pitt wins.
Wake Forest @ Clemson - Another interesting game. Wake seems to be a thing now with Forbes at the helm. Important game for both. I will go with Wake in an upset in another close one.
Syracuse @ Notre Dame. Cuse sucks. They will probably have a stretch later in the year where they play better, but Boeheim just needs to retire, not sure what he is waiting on other than getting more wins for his overall record. Notre Dame is the pick here.
FSU @ UVA - We all know FSU has sucked this year, but did play better against Purdue and will have some confidence playing us since they beat us in JPJ last year. But this is a different FSU team. Not as deep and not as tall. We have some matchup problems, who is going to guard Cleveland? But I think we win a tougher than we want game by single digits.
BC @ Duke - Duke rolls
Miami @ UL UL will win eventually but probably not this one.
UNC @ VT Could they both lose? I keep picking UNC to wake up, I will do it again. If they dont, they will go from #1 to unranked in the span of two weeks. Wonder if that has ever happened.

Wake Forest will be a problem in the ACC again … they are old, long, athletic and have a dude that plays like Ja Morant with the ball - minus about 12-14 inches of vertical - but all the other skills.
Averaging 20/5/5 a game.
In their rotation so afar they have a 6-9, 6-10 6-10, 7-0, and 7-1 guys.
Bobi Klintman is now listed at 6-10 and he is very good defensively.

They have a fun team yet again. The league is way more fun when wake is good. I could see them ending up as a 5th seed with Miami the 4th seed - or vice versa

FSU vs Purdue was a one possession game for a lot of that game - first 33 minutes.

It was hard to watch but I always enjoy seeing NC State lose.
I hope they try and extend their defense against us like they did against Pitt. Reece and Kihei will have a field day.

I’m not a gambler and don’t know the spread, but I would lay a lot on Miami over Louisville. An awful lot. Miami has guards and the Cards have ZERO guards worth a damn

Yes, I’m fully aware of the shitshow that was the City Council on the Navy Hill project.
I live in the city, and they can’t do squat to reduce my property taxes because either politicians or special interests kill big projects (Navy Hill + casino) that would bring in a lot of revenue, particularly in areas without much hope.
