Everything about this broadcast screams that the acc is dead.
Remember when the 8/9 game was the Les Robinson Invitational all by its lonesome on Thursday? The two worst teams in a game you knew mattered zilch in the grand scheme of things and could promptly ignore.
Reminds me why the first day of the ACCT could disappear and no one would care, exclude more teams from the bottom of the league who didnāt earn a spot at the event.

For a couple years, they made us play Duke on Thursday night. Was that a 1-9 switcheroo?
The crazy thing about 2014 is that we hadnāt made it to a Saturday in the ACC-T since before my time, I think.
Every other year or so we lost to NC State on Friday night
Here we go:
Looked it up - we went from 1996-2013 without winning a game in the ACC-T quarterfinals. Most of those years, it meant we didnāt win a game at all

I just want to beat GT so we can play Duke again and utilize the Packline against about 10 future NBA players. I kid, I kidā¦.
@HoopinHoos - how would you play against Duke if you were us? I understand we will lose about 99/100 times. But I would come out with something unexpected and Iād go at Cooper to try to get him in Foul trouble. Thoughts?

Lol. Thatās above my paygrade. UVA doesnāt matchup favorably anywhere. And itās a given Duke is going to dominate the glass.
Kind of what kept UNC in it for a while this past Saturday. Get Flagg off the court in foul trouble and hope you stay hot long enough.

I may have posted this last year, but itās interesting and shocking.
Pretty sure if we win today, Dook is going to hang 100 on our sorry Temu version Packline tomorrow. Not really looking forward to that.
Definitely bomb as many threes as possible, nearly all threes unless we can get a good drive. Raises our variance. If weāre unconsciously hot, maybe we keep it close.

Maybe our shooting against Duke (if we win today) will be a make-up for our shooting against Syracuse and return us to the mean.
