I wonāt answer any of your questions⦠but Iāll highlight your posts so we donāt miss not answering them.
Many many times throughout the game after we score and pick up full court. Why donāt we trap sometimes. Under ol deano, Unc would trap when they saw the opportunity. Especially when the opponent inbounds the ball towards the boundary.
Agree re: doing a full court press with trapping at times. Iāve wondered if this is something Odom would do as a surprise in the post-season.

I didnāt say I would answer them either. But you can ask them.
Somewhere in an LRA group chat I am on record saying āThe token full-court pressure is the death of basketballā I hat that is a staple of the Odom gameplan.
@CavTex gets it. Iāve complained about this the most of the Odom era. Doesnāt need to be a press Virginia style but when you get inbounds to the short corner with back to the open court bring the inbound defender over and trap it.
I would just love to see the pressure generate some easy points. I think there are 3-4 opportunities for this every half.
Us old mofos remember deanās run and jump double team, they didnāt do it all the time just enough to stop a run, turn us over. Yes we donāt have to do it all game just occasionally that would disrupt the hell out of most teams. Do it when we have the shot blockers in, to protect the rim.
if we play NC State Thursday, whatās the over under on announcers saying ātough to beat a team three timesā As a parlay, if we ending facing duke, what are odds that they say tough to beat a team twice?
I say, 20 and 0%
I meant to do the research on this, but Iām almost positive the % of times the 2-0 wins again has to be like 85%. Itād be easy to check with the Big East since they do a double round robin
The odds are very much in favor of the team that came in 2-0. I donāt recall the exact number your youāre in the ballpark. The idea that itās so hard is a sports myth.
Iāve seen studies about this, so someoneās done the research. I think the answer is definitely way over 50% straight up since if youāve beaten a team twice, youāre most likely better than them, but I canāt remember if the winning percentage was above or below the combined win expectation percentage. It could be that beating a team for a third time is harder than you would expect for that particular matchup.
Rooting for Stanford over Pitt, get that ACC team off the bubble and into the tourney.
I still blame @Marktykobe for pointing out NCSU had a really good Strong Island lax bro
And @DFresh11 for conveying that to the LRA community
And I-Mac for the missed front end and meh defense

Pitt has decided to aggressively man-up & double Okorie and let everyone else beat them. So far it is working.
@jazznutUVA whatās best method for watching ACCN & ESPN abroad?
Minor looked gassed down the stretch there. Completely sat out hands on knees in the corner the last offensive possession and collapsed when the half was over. Guarding Okorie is not for the weak. Granted theyāve done a good job
If Pitt wins here⦠does Pitt JeffitBack? Id assume he needs a few more wins.
