NC State definitely looks like our best candidate to be āfirst team outā instead of us, especially since we own the tiebreak.
Next best shot might be Syracuse, and NC State and Syracuse still have to play each other, so one of those two is picking up āhalf a lossā there (itās about a 50/50 game).
And Syracuse is our final game, so this could easily come down to 3/8
Pretty good illustration of how mid the ACC is right now. There is a scenario where Virginia could F around and somehow get to the middle of the conference standings.

I think itās Miami actually. They had what seemed like a top-25 roster, Bethea had top 5 pick hype coming into the season. And the bottom fell all the way out.

The Meadowlands was named after Brendan Byrne from 81-96, and then while he was still alive, they renamed it after Continental Airlines.
Byrne got the last laugh, though, as he lived until 2018 and Continental Airlines bought United in 2012 and changed their name in shame. Of course the arena was named after Izod by that time, and when was the last time you saw anyone wearing Izod? Izod had naming rights until 2015, but the arena still sits thereā¦ and is apparently named the Meadowlands Arena, which is what everyone always called it anywayā¦
