For one night. Unfortunately tonight all of our better teams are dogs and play on the road. Our two worst teams by far play at home but they are against pretty solid teams. Could get pretty rough tonight, but still nice to have a night like last night.
Take that back, Louisvilleās not an underdog. Hope they win and we win and we steal another one.
Big one for our season. Donāt want to make Dayton a must win but itās pretty close if we lose. UMD and Ohio State are both either bad or close to bad

We canāt go 0-2, this week. Texas or Dayton is a must win. But Dayton still has a high risk of being a bad loss come selection time. So letās just beat em and avoid the risk

Wait what? I really like Ryan Odom and think our program is in a solid spot. Just because I think he made a very poor tactical error (both at the time and now) doesnāt mean Iām down on him or the program. And I know this talent can be very good, so I have great faith that he can coach them up and we can improve on defense.
If we miss 6 straight tournaments like Forbes has, yes, I will likely be very down on Odom, but I think most people will be.

Browsing the box scores this morning I was surprised at how many of the teams shot threes in the high twenties and a number of teams that won were in the low thirties. I suppose teams are learning how to make those shots difficult.

Fair points and just giving you a hard time. I think the switch if going to flip on for this team at some point. May not be tonight or Saturday but itās coming. Too much talent not to

Iām shocked Forbes still has a job. Thought he was for sure gone after last season, didnāt understand retaining him at all.
In retrospect he was a suspect hire given how he built his teams at ETSU and the rule changes since, they really should have pulled the plug this past season.
(Also kind of a jerk)

The Curry effect. Everyone thinks theyāre a great shooter, and I doubt even 5% put in near the work Curry does.
A great time in the gameās evolution to have an effective big who can score down low when the game isnāt oriented to that style and defenders are out on the perimeter.

If I recall Wake made a run at Ryan Odom. But may be wrong. Probably right for them to hold off an offseason.
Forbes seems to be a good talent evaluator. Has done well in the portal. Poor in game coach though. Theyāve been on just the wrong side of the bubble. Seem to always lose in frustrating fashion.

My (pending) in-laws canāt stand him because of some comments he made about Kentucky when they were fighting over Oscar Tshiebwe.
Donāt think they could tell you whatās going on with a single other non-Duke ACC team but will root against Forbes and Wake if theyāre on
I get texts from them if UVa beats Louisville, Wake, or Virginia Tech. Basically the only times lol
