He’s undefeated vs. former VCU coaches this year — and 2-0 in CLT!
He was holding it extra close to the chest in a guarded position.
Yes but not immobilized in a cast or brace.
Maybe he rests it the rest of the week but is okay for R64? Fair hope maybe.
We’re gonna be going through that footage frame by frame like it’s the Zapruder tape until we get an injury update.
Also, which wrist we looking at? Left or right? Both were circled above.
I think it was also already taped when he fell
Ugo is so good at this. Want him to have a great tournament because media will love him.
We need Ugo to dye his hair gold just like Diakite did back in the day to really make everyone fall in love with him.
Noticed that as well. Resting it probably the best call and shutting him down for the rest of the weekend.
Left wrist had a bit of tape around it all game. Ethan taped up the right wrist after the fall.
Key to the game (other than NC state getting to shoot a million FTs)
NC State hit 50% of their 3s but only 29% of their 2s.
Perhaps related, Ugo personally blocked ~22% of NC State’s 2 point attempts.
I never knew a team formed so little time ago could become one of my favorite ones so quickly. These guys are just genuinely fun to cheer for
Carter Lang good to go if Grünloh needs to rest tomorrow?? Former SEC starter, lest we forget.
Right wrist
That interview was entertaining as hell.
He did look to be holding it gingerly.
Just made the comment offline. I wouldn’t throw him in there. Hes been on ice for 4 months. 2 yrs if we’re being really honest and to have to walk into a physical miami team. That’s a lot to ask.
Im confident he was in a lot of pain. You dont hold your hand to your chest like that normally. It’s a response to pain.
Is it juat a bruise or broken? No clue
Fully agree, especially without Mikel.. Miami’s size and physicality neutralizes some of our advantages, and we had to shoot really well to counteract their play last game.
Louisville just feels like a worse version of us, especially without Mikel Brown.
Do postseason games count against redshirts? Could we throw out Barksdale if needed?
