I don’t think Tugard is tu good at maths. It is a good thing that you dont return a majority of the offense that struggled to break 50. At 40% we may have struck a balance as a good part of that is probably iMac.

NGL, the Noah discussions annoy me disproportionately to other random rabbit holes UVA fans tend to go on because the discussions go to nowhere even quicker than others. None of us have the necessary information at a level of precision that would allow us to tell if it is helpful or not.
And obviously there’s a science to basketball, like every sport. You can systematically measure things (eg how many shots do I make), develop theories of change (eg if I keep my elbow in a certain position, I will make more shots), and test those theories (eg shoot a bunch of shots with my elbow in that position and record the results). Maybe the interventions you develop based on your theories don’t have a big impact or you pick the wrong changes to make. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a science there, just that science involving human behavior is hard.

As have I, with my son who loves them. Live they were…meh. But the show? Good Lord no, staged “hidden camera” gags just don’t do it for me.
