To relitigate 2016-17 (fun for everyone, I know), the best player list for that year starts with either Perrantes, London or Wilkins, Isaiah (defense is an important part of the game, some might say 50%). Marial not touching first-year KG either. Marial might even be at the bottom of the Dev-Darius-Marial troika!

Tu câmon man⌠McKay left for Liberty in April 2015. UVA after that:
2016 - 29-8, went to elite 8
2017 - 23-11, round of 32
2018 - 31-3, R64
2019 - 35-3, champions
2020 - 23-7, no tournament but finished 2nd in ACC
2021 - 18-7, 1st ACC R64 (Covid disruption)
2022 - bad year no one questions that
2023 - 25-8, R64
If thatâs the results you get for struggling with lineups, sign me up all day. Most of the âGlory Yearsâ here came after McKay.
