What a great listen. Great player and so kind off the field. I remember taking my son, who was probably 10 at the time, to a Spring game when he was coaching. Dex stood and talked to him probably 15 minutes. That’s something my son still talks about now at 25.
He’s still the toughest player I’ve seen at UVa. So many great memories he provided. The punt he blocked at UNC still amazes me. Blocked it between the drop from the hands to the foot.
I remember that well. He is one of mine all time favorites. I talked to him briefly at a Wake Forest game. Pretty cool of him to stop and talk for a minute with this crazy drunk UVA fan. He laughed at me,lol
