Heard itā€™s more like an IPA now despite being marketed as a brown ale still. Was that your experience?

Thatā€™s a good comparison. Itā€™s a heavy (dark) ipa. Or a non flavored brown.

Ok, youā€™ve piqued my curiosity, whatā€™s the Brewing Tree? (Or should I google)

Went to an Easter gathering at a friends house yesterday after church. Had an old fashioned Coors in a bottle (not a Coors Light). Remember the banquet beer with the yellow label? Hadnā€™t had one in 20 years. Very distinct and oddly satisfying. Thoughts on the original banquet beer?

Never understood where people were having so many banquets that a beer could just market itself as the banquet beer. Guess I just wasnā€™t getting all the banquet invites.

So true. Such a distinct flavor. I guess you could call dinner a banquet if you had a speaker
