Its that time of the year again my friendsā¦
The time to brew stouts and porters and throw whatever the heck is piled up next to you into the wort is here! Twigs, berries, why not? Marshmallow, peppermint, dont mind if i do! They are all interestingā¦ but there is a reason they are all seasonal.

Fresh you need to get yourself one of these holiday Hardywood Packs and some slippers and a chair and a pipe and a fire and drink that stuff. Itās really good. Then go back to the Banquet. Try it though.

Thatās a good one. They narrowly escaped the flooding damage that smashed a number of facilities. I like a lower ABV IPA like that.

Glad to hear their avoided being lost in the storm. I generally like their stuff. But I agree the lower Abv makes this a smooth sipper

Checked this out todayā¦annual event for those in the Richmond area. No charge to get in and drink tickets werenāt badā¦$7.50 for a 12 oz. pour or $3 for 4 oz. samplers. My wife & I just got like a dozen of the $3 tickets. Dozens of beer options all over the park, along with some ciders & meads (not really my thing). Several food trucks, live music, and weather was perfect. Weāll go back next year.

Iām not totally sure why this worksā¦ but truly enjoyed this one. Perhaps itās because it 9.2% ABVā¦ Iām still confused why i liked the peppermint in itā¦ i donāt think i should have.
