⛹ Christian Harmon Official Thread

Wait what? Finish as well as Malik? Sure we were watching the same games?

Not saying Malik was a great finisher by any means but Harmon looks (even) less explosive to me.

Yikes …. Sounds like Caffaro or Salt

Never thought Malik finished well or was particularly explosive. He’d just put his head down and bull his way toward the basket with no idea what he was going to do and just hoping he’d figure it out on the way. On the straight-line drives, I think he lost the ball or put up a wild shot more often than he got a bucket. Once in a while, he’d stop and show a good midrange shot, and I’d think: I wish he did more of that. But he never did.

Don’t disagree. Just saying I don’t think Harmon will even hit that mark.

Nah I disagree. I think Harmon will get to the rim more easily than Malik. That fadeaway was a crutch because he couldn’t get to the rim. Harmon is closer to Sam in my opinion though either way, will be more of a choose his spots but look smooth when he does.

Harmon has a chip on his shoulder and I think is going to come in more locked in. Malik - very high character individual - came into Cville as a multi millionaire thinking he’d come in and be successful.

Malik was a good finisher at the mid major level. In the ACC…not as much.

Really excited about Harmon but I see him in the Jacari role more than anything else. Both with the off court vibes (He’s the number one candidate for a new Jacarmy) and play style. I mean he took so many 3s I think it’s hard to judge his off the dribble game because his main form of offense is taking threes.
