I don’t understand. With men on first and third and one out, the infield shift to the left side, and the 1st baseman holding the runner, why wouldn’t the batter just slap or bunt anything to the right side? At least get a run and advance a runner, and probably end up hitting a single in the huge gap anyway.

I know there’s a lot of tournaments this year but is the asskissing one also in Omaha this weekend? Because these announcers must be in top contention.

Whalen is in a major slump. His glove is just too good to yank out but his bat is nowhere to be found. Would’ve loved runner on 3rd with gof to fly out and be up two. But we’re battling!!!
Might want to see what Stephan can do out there.
3-24 in NCAAs while watching your average go from .402 to .363 — just bad.
And Didawick being the third out three times hasn’t been helpful either.
Gelof definitely went to New Orleans and visited a voodoo queen when his record was tied.

Good to pick up the run but still too many RISP left.
Hoos up 2-1 after 6. Blanco has found his groove, and pitch count still fairly low.
Blanco is dealing right now. Still think we’re gonna need a couple more to hang on though, but the guys look good today.
Osuna twice has worn the sombrero vs. Blanco this year. That’s brutal.

Blanco has balled out. I know it’s left on left but I think they should’ve brought hungate in. All of that is hypothetical
