Averaging 23.7 PPG over his last 3 games. Had 26 tonight including 6 clutch threes and 3 in the last 2 minutes of play (2 in the last 25 seconds). Proving to be a more than reliable piece for the Hawks, and has been the most consistent guy on their team not named Trae Young. In fact, Hunter is the only player to start every game this year. Up to 12.5 PPG this season, with double digits in 8 straight games, averaging 16.8 PPG in that span.

Has 18 points with 5 mins left in the 4th. Just went to the locker room with what appears to be a hand injury. Seemed to be quite a bit of pain. Hawks winning by 20+ so even he’s fine he won’t be coming back in.

On second look, likely just a jammed finger. That said, still in the locker room so could be dislocated, or hopefully not, broken.

Dislocated right index finger. X-rays came back negative, no fracture.

Hunter is listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game. Apparently he’s said that he’ll play… Sounds like he was working on his lefty shot today while his right hand was taped up, but didn’t practice with the team. You can tell, the guy wants it.
