He looked solid. But I’m paranoid of mid Major producing guards LOL. Even last year I always found myself asking “If McKneely played in a freer system against weaker competition, would he be putting up the same numbers?”.
And then you have guys like Dalton Knecht who are like “SEC players? Scrubs, nothing compared to the warriors found in the Big Sky conference.” and play 10x better vs “better” competition.
Trilly even joked “be ready to see 1 million 6’0 to 6’4 guards with 11 to 15 ppg”

Recruit rank is probably a weak signal when you’re thinking about a junior-year guy, but he was a 3-star in the 247 composite coming out of HS.

Last year when he was coming off the bench vs the mid Major guard in the portal that offseason.
It wasn’t a commentary on production here; moreso commentary on the quality of such mid Major portal guards.
I find this annoying.
