They were the one private school in my conference when I was in HS, and they were really good at everything, with new “student-athletes” every year, so long standing bad feelings towards them

Last year, a TG player got a T during the game, after the game he went after the refs and yelled profanities, refs decided to give him a second technical which would mean missing games, refs told head coach and his response was “Are you sure you want to do that? He’s up for Mr. Basketball.”
Not my favorite school.

Seriously though, jordan scott is incredibly skilled but he has the reputation of a softie. Even Maryland forum has talked about it. Think from bugging hgn its why they havent offered

Hard hedge isn’t inherently the issue, but you gotta have two blue collar bigs who are athletic and can haul ass back to the paint off the hedge in order for it to work the way it’s supposed to. We had success with it in the past because guys like Mitchell, Atkins, Gill, Zay, Salt, and Diakite worked like madmen on defense, and the same goes for Houston and their frontcourt. Also helps to have strong guards who put pressure on the ball and cut off passing lanes.
