Actually he spent over a decade in Texas (specifically the Houston area) before getting into higher-level coaching. I believe he was an AAU coach for awhile while he was in the private sector working in Houston. He’s got decent ties to the area and (from a buddy who’s relatively close to Longwood athletics) this was one of the few (non major) jobs he would consider.

Dear Moon and any higher beings up there,
Cure all diseases, end all wars, feed all hungry bellies…
But we know that’s not happening soon so why not just give UVA Tyrell Ward, Ven Lubin, Tucker Anderson as a possible redshirt, and either 5th year Reece or one of Trent Perry, Caleb Foster, or Freddie Dilione.

I’m wondering about Caden Pierce, who was Ivy POY as a sophomore this season. Maybe he’s the kind of player that doesn’t translate up as well, but he was really good for Princeton.

Interesting. He cooled off his torrid pace but still had a good season. No idea how he’d translate up a level or two but he’s tall for a PG (6-3) and a good, not great shooter. Two of his Kenpom comps are Dame and Cam Payne. Not bad!
A lot of twos in their system (they still mostly do Carrill or modified version?) so you wonder how that translates. Also don’t know how athletic he is. Tall though..
If I had more time, I’d have watched more Princeton this year…
