I think this class is pretty widely viewed as a week one but someone feel free to correct me
Not a bad one to be on the sidelines for imo
I still think weāre gonna end up with a surprise or two within the top 100, but that might be wishful thinking.

I also think itās viewed as weak, but I think thatās often a bit over-influenced by guys at the top. Thereās no Cooper Flagg, but I donāt know if anyone has any good idea of whether the guys ranked 55-65 are any different than in a typical year.
@UVApride7 Iām also still engaged in wishful thinking because thereās still time and this staff has down pretty well so far.
Think itās worth pointing out that they already have two top 100 (one top 50?) recruits theyāve already recruited here. From Virginia!

I think itās viewed as weak from an NBA draft perspective, but thatās only looking at the top 10-15 1 and dones. The rest of the class could be elite 4 year college players, but itād still be a weak class because those arenāt NBA players.

Whats Cody Peck up to? Dayton probably offering immediate playing time.
Dayton could be a fun minor league team for us: LāAmeal Etang is a priority for me to manifest in the next portal cycle and they have Hooandtrue target Malcolm Thomas (who redshirted at Villanova last year, 4 years left). Also have to figure Grant is retiring soon.

Cody Peck is still mentioning UVA. Heās visited Dayton and is scheduled to visit Tennessee. Heās talked about potentially waiting until the spring but lots of them say that. Feels like one theyāre keeping in touch with while letting others play out.
Jayden Hodge has UVA on his list. There hasnāt been any smoke there so probably not but Odomās way is to sorta hang around and keep guys in play, so until theyāre off the board ya never know. Fred Smith, very unlikely but not ruled out.
I will say, the one thing thatās been clear about Odom this fall. Heās not going to go out on the road personally and beat recruits doors down, the traditional way of recruiting. Theyāre more about dealing with agents etc than working the kids in person. Not that there isnāt some of that, just by assistants.
