I think we certainly need more DBs (likely plural), we’ll just have to make that the priority in the post-spring window.

We almost certainly need a DB. Going to need some freshman to play regardless but could use at least one more nice experienced option. That said, I really think Costner and Spence are gonna be great.

We shored up the gaping holes and elevated the average talent level. Definitely feels like bowl capable team now. Just gotta keep finding some legit difference makers. I think I saw our portal class is ranked 6th in the ACC … would love for us to re-establish the program in that tier.

FWIW I think Ross makes his biggest impact on special teams for us, he’s decent but I like the upside of Harrison and Courtney more. Hope they get the PT over him in the slot. Ross is a great kick returner though.
From what I’ve seen Ross has great speed but is an average route runner with below average hands. Not upset we took him but I don’t think he’s a game changer at WR.

Kavonte Turpin type?
Yeah though I don’t wanna hype up Ross too much as a returner, he only returned 13 kicks last season and no punts. Though his yards per return was 11th in the country for guys with at least double digit reps. Also had one TD.
