Lucas Morillo is like if Kon couldn’t shoot but was more athletic and mobile and more aggressive as a slasher. 4 assists to 2 turnovers a game in EYBL play but 3 of 18 from year yeesh. And that kinda reflects with what we just saw, his shot looks normal but doesn’t feel automatic by any means (did knock down a 3 in what I watched) 65% ft shooter shows shooting overall needs some work but 50% from 2 and he’s really physical for a guard
EYBL loves him. They have him as a top 10 player in their player index rating (no idea what the actual measurement is, just bigger number = better players in their eyes). Same AAU program as Elijah Gertrude
New age basketball. Get guards who can post and slash. And bigs who can shit the open 3 on a kickout

Johann Grünloh absent from both the German U19 team in FIBA World Cup (Texas Tech Christian Anderson and Steinbach for Washington played) and German U20 team in their friendly today vs Greece and the Hokie commit.
Grünloh was the leading blocker in the Euro U19 when it happened like a year ago (like 3 blocks a game)
Maybe he’s just focused on getting over to UVA ASAP?

Will UVA sign a 2026 recruit ranked in the top 25? Latrell Allmond, Jordan Smith, Deron Rippey, Cole Cloer, Dylan Mingo are all currently ranked there one place or another.

So what position will Allmond play in college? He looks like he’s doing a mix of perimeter and post stuff so I guess he’s a PF?

Allmond has really transformed himself the last year into a 4-man instead of an undersized center. Moves so much better. And he’s always been skilled but now he seems to have become a consistent 3-point threat if you leave him alone.
I think he’s a 4/5 in college. Still a little bit of a tweener maybe…if you watch, he’s playing center 90% of the time, so guarding wing 4s in college will be an adjustment but he’s got the tools to do it now.
