Reece played 27 minutes, barely more than McKneely. Even when he was in the game, looked like Kihei was the primary ballhandler and Reece wasn’t looking to attack the basket. Maybe he still can’t. Hope he continues to get healthier.

Wow we forced 23 turnovers and had 14! steals. Armaan, Reece, and Kihei combined for 10.

I thought he looked better. And I think Kihei as primary ball handler happened after the game was no longer in doubt. He had a nice lay-up drive early and moved well. Probably not 100% but leagues better than Miami

I thought Reece looked entirely untroubled by the injury. He may be dialing back the explosive moves a bit out of fear of reinjuring it, but if so, that’s smart.

Not sure. That is the benefit of us playing a little higher on the perimeter this year.

This is my take as well. Defense seems as good as ever. Not ready for the real explosive stuff

I would say Reece looked 95% on defense and about 70% on offense … don’t know how much of that was rust and lack of trust in his leg yet.

This was our most complete game of the year against non-cupcake opposition, right? Not necessarily our most impressive performance (probably one of the Vegas games), but most well-rounded?

Yeah, but the old way is better. He should have been pronouncing it that way forever.
If we are to cover, we need to up 10 or so more than the cover figure with 3 mins to go. We usually turn a rout into a ho-hum win in the last 3 minutes.
I think that is a fair assessment. He really was not aggressive on offense at all, but seemed to play his usual top D.

Last time in any game, at Wake 2010. 24 turnovers for Wake and they still won easily. I expected the 14 steals to be the hard one to match but they did it against Clemson a couple years ago.
