We could use a good write in pres nomination this yearā¦
Me watching Bond and Dunn cook this year:
Wait a minute- why are we dismissing Brogdon after an injury in which heāll be out only a month? Trigga is going to be out for a while as well and had some injuries in the past but we are not burying his career yet?
Man, sometimes itāll be your own peopleā¦
RD jumper looking sweet. Plenty of arc and nothing but net. RD swiiish
Brogdon has had chronic health issues. Is rarely healthy. And older than Murphy. 31-32 years old
I mean Brogs injury history tells itself at this point. Teams now see it as a liability.
Brogdon has appeared in more than 70 games in a season only once in his eight-year career, and that was during his rookie campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks. Last season, he only appeared in 39 games, missing the entire final two months of the season.
This aint even up to date but pretty telling: Malcolm Brogdon Injuries - NBA | FOX Sports
Whoās the best Wahoo in the NBA in 2 years (2026-27 season)?
- Malcolm Brogdon
- Trey Murphy
- Ryan Dunn
- DeAndre Hunter
- Other
Itās a finger for crying out loud. It hasnāt been the same injury to the same body part in this case. Everyone gets nicked up in the NBA- they just donāt throw dirt on their own careers like some UVA fans do
My man @superhelix is the only one on the Dunn wagon with me? Admittedly Murphyās odds are better because heās established but Dunn has more upside. If heās gonna get there the breakout should come by year 3.
I mean if it was betting laying a few bucks on Dunn as a longshot could be fun but I need to see that jumper in a real game when NBA players actually care.
As far as Brogon goes heās been a injury prone but generally they do not affect his style of play. His currently injury certainly does not. Also have to imagine part of the reason for caution and shutting him down a bunch is last year he was basically trade bait and Portland had no intention of using him longterm. And the Wizards are a terrible franchise also likely not keeping him around longterm.
2022-23 is not that long ago and he was very much a plus player (and 6MOY) then, and played 60ish games.
Dunn finished 3 of 5 from three. Now look, we all know RD is a 3-point specialist, but if he wants to stick in the NBA, he needs to expand his game from just being a marksman
RD in 16:40 of play - 10 points (3/5 from 3, 1/2 from the line), 4 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 blks. No turnovers, no fouls.
+10
Trey will make an all-NBA team in 2026-27.
Weāre betting on this? Give me Dre +5000. Renaissance incoming as soon as heās free of Trae Young. Get him to Miami and let Spo cook
67 games in a season ONE TIME is Dreās problem
Even better, Iāll take +10000
Iām with you on the Dunn wagon⦠I do think/hope Dunn is the springboard for CTB to modernize not just in scheme, but also in how he thinks about roles of players.
In a few years, hopefully after some success with all of the newness, I do think more people are going to look back at last year and realize how, not to be indelicate, crazy it was that we were often scoring in the 40s and still telling our most talented player to just focus on defense and rebounding. And that will be true whether or not Dunn continues to make the case that heās starting to in the pros.
