Ty helped Cleveland to a lot of regular season wins this past season. I can see some team wanting him to help get them to the playoffs, then, if theyāre worried about his defense later, trading him for defense. Of course, I donāt know what the final trading deadline is so that would factor into the logic of such a move.
Yeah Iām skeptical about this. Seems that all indications are that they want Ty back but simply arenāt enthusiastic they can, and thatās why they pivoted.
