They must be way overly cautious now cause a meniscus tear is very easy to come back from
Wasn’t easy for Dre to come back from . . .
Depends on if they try to repair the meniscus or just cut out the torn part. The former is better for long term health of the knee and preventing arthritis, but takes longer to return. The latter you can be back in a couple weeks.
So thats why my knee hurts!
Mine too… although I just rehabbed mine with no cuts.
Thats the move man
Did the same this summer - worked real hard to avoid the knife
Yup, can still fly…

So when do we have the conversation that TM3 is the best former Hoo in the pros?
That distinction goes to either Brogdan or TM3. I’d give the nod to Brogdan still, but TM3 likely will surpass him. He already is better than Dre. Candidly, I’m disappointed that Dre has not been a better player in the NBA. I had thought that part of the problem was him being on the Hawks, but Jalen Johnson seems to be doing well on that team.
Whem he signs the 100mm contract. Which he will and he will be the best guy from Rice in the NBA
Part of the issue for Dre is the #4 pick cloud over him. If he had been a late lottery pick and had become the serviceable rotation player he is with good strength and size, he’d be fine. But yeah, being injured for like 1.5 seasons when he needed to develop most really hampered him.
Other than injuries the issue is he spends most of their offensive possessions standing still in the corner
When he left UVa I thought we were gonna see Dre in the NBA out on fast breaks and shit
Yea the way he’s deployed is not what I expected. He’s basically become a defensive stopper who can spot up. Not even sure I’d call it 3&D
Yeah but he doesn’t even hit the wide open shots in the corner is the big big problem
And that’s why I won’t consider him a true 3&D.
He needs to leave for his own peace of mind.
