I don’t know FIBA passport rules, does this kill my dream of Kyle Guy leading the US 3x3 team to gold in 2032?

If he suited up for Poland yes.

Also someone tell KG to hit Dragon up. Coached the Polish national rugby team for 2 yrs. Got a good feel for how the international sports counsel works in Poland.

Can definitely help with the passport stuff. How you think we had 3 South Africans and 4 Fijians in our staarting 15?

Rugby is another one where you can be a full international for multiple countries during your career, right? I think I remember this coming up with the USA rugby league team one year.

If KG does get a European passport that really opens up his European basketball opportunities. Wouldn’t count as a foreign player which are subject to roster limits.

League is a but different and I don’t know the rules TBH for union as of now once you’re capped for a country at the senior level you’re in. But you can qualifiy for residency in 4 yrs. Scottlanda best player is SA Ireland’s star center is kiwi. And Aus and NZ are littered with poly boys.

I think Igor’s dad is the Polish coach (or was in a recent FIBA thing). Obviously they want Sochan to play

Trey led the Pels in scoring in a close loss (CJs potential game winner rimmed out) to the Thunder. Was a great game all the way through, best game of the day. Should be a really good series.

Maybe the fact players are taking good shots and are sharing the ball is the reason why 4 players are shooting above 40%?

Also the dude became a lottery pick. What more could you ask for?

Yeah but you should not have a guy shooting 48% from 3. You need to be taking more attempts.

I kind of agree but it’s just not accurate to say that we ran a ton of blocker mover that year…. And when we did Murphy was not a blocker.

Huff was the primary 5. We rarely ran B/M with him on the court.

What’s the other offense called again? Triangle?

Back to my point, it’s totally fair to think he should’ve been more involved and that Kihei shot too much. But the reasoning for it is false.

We ran a fair amount of either 5 out, flow, or inside triangle that season.

Mostly because this is what Huff and Hauser looked like setting screens in B/M

Just repeating something that’s been pointed out by multiple people here. At UVA, Trey was a great shooter, but could not create his own shot. He still struggles with that in the NBA; though he’s gotten somewhat better at it. Defensively, Trey made a lot of progress at UVA, but started from a very low floor with his team defense. My biggest regret with his one year at UVA was not Tony’s schemes for him, but all the Covid stuff that made it very hard for our coaches to get the team to play at its full potential. FWIW, I think over 15 three point shots per game between or top 4 shooters is pretty good.

Nit picking, but 17 isn’t a lottery pick. First 14 are lottery picks.

Had 3 blocks last night!
