Hooz living too much in 08

Kinda funny. Like we all know he’s not good enough but the measurements now coming out…

I saw his measurement and was scratching my head because I thought he was billed as bigger than that. I’m all for program height inflating things but damn.

+6 wingspan differential is pretty good though. He’s basically Reece’s height and length.

Yes and no. This is barefoot height, right? They play in shoes. 1-2" of overstatement is totally normal (and you get part of that back by putting on the shoes), wasn’t Dunn overstated by about 1.5"? 2.5" is past the usual range, but not far and probably isn’t the worst.

Totally get shoes vs. no shoes Remember that going back to AI being listed 6’1 and reality 5’10ish. But still a 3 inch lift even with shoes is a bit of a stretch. Don’t get me wrong I did the same thing but gotta keep it somewhat realistic.

Live look in at the NBA Combine… perhaps the real NBA combine should use some sort of rabbit like below… maybe we get faster times? The rabbit could be a juicy NIL deal where if they catch up to it, they return to college for another year!

The Knicks Pacers series has become the gift I did not know I needed. Feels like it’s 1998 hearing the Garden rocking. Little dust ups between players. Loving it

Be even cooler if it wasn’t a blowout

I’m not really a Knicks fan, but Brunson is becoming my favorite NBA player.

Jokic is on another level right now:

Joker is one of the most fascinating players for me to watch and it’s for many of the opposite reasons ai love watching Ant. He looks like he should be wrecking dads at the YMCA not dominating the ā€œDPOYā€

He’s so good. Two things I love:

  1. The one-handed full-court passes immediately after grabbing the board. He does them in one motion and so quickly…I don’t know if he is seeing his teammate leak out or he just trusts that someone is going to be there, but it’s insane.
  2. After his team grabs a rebound, if he sees his defender not being attentive to him, he gets on his horse and rumbles down the open seam and beats him to the rim. He beat AD down the floor a bunch of times each game last round.

That pass was beautiful. There are multiple college QB’s who couldn’t make that pass to save their lives.

His motor is so deceiving. He cooked AD on that in the first round. He just lumbers around and then you look up and he’s gone.

I just love that Jokic seems to treat basketball like his day job. Unclear if he even really likes the game that much or if he just happens to be elite at it. When they won the title last year he was just like ā€œYeah, that was fun. I’d like to leave now and get back to my horses… We have to do a parade? Nooo.ā€ It’s honestly refreshing to see a dude treat the NBA like a 9 to 5 he has to show up for.

Watching Kendrick Perkins on commentary is like they took Shaq combined him with Charles Barkley and took away all talent and charisma.
