Virginia dudes. Very cool
Given how often this dude got sniped in our games, I deem this share worthy
Minimal head snap when Tre Jones actually gets elbowed and palmed in the face.
Dre balling in Milwaukee tonight
Brogdon now with Klutch (Lebron’s agency), which means there’s a non-zero chance the Lakers trade for him once D’Angelo Russell has sufficiently pissed LeBron off

hunter going at gill is just beautiful, good defense too
Is Ty’s ankle injury worse than anticipated? He’s missed a few games now.
Malcolm ices the game over Joe
When I tuned in early in the second period, he had not yet scored and was on the bench. Nice 2 and 1/2 quarters!
– Fourth Year Elijah Gertrude when he’s average 25/5/5 and for the Hoos
OMG, can you imagine Tony Bennett trying to coach a guy like that? I know his team mates are thrilled to have him. Guess they can try to play HIS system.
Philly would have been better off with Brogdon v Harden in what they wanted him to do.
I agree with him in that it was a bit of a waste of what Harden provides in playmaking and creativity but I would also point to the fact that he has zero rings being “the guy”.
Fun:
That’s the thing for me, not that rings are the be all end all, but I think we have enough evidence to see that the Harden system does not work. His heyday was 5ish years ago now in Houston and even that wasn’t enough to get him to the NBA Finals. This will be his fourth (6th if you count the 2 roster blowups he initiated in Houston) attempt as implementing his system with a new set of surroundings At some point you have to sit back and look what’s going on.
I’d say on LRA that I’m not a system player either. I am a system… just in my prime unlike Harden.

Raylan Givens on Justified said it best when it comes to people who always think everyone else is the problem (money quote starts at 1:38):
This is totally fair, and I honestly agree with the takeaway, I’d just note that one of those Houston teams was one freakishly poor shooting performance away from the finals. I think it was that 2018 game 7 against the Warriors when they missed 27 consecutive threes. You can of course argue that was them failing and folding under the pressure, but if they just hit like two or three more threes - which they did all season at a high clip - they would have made it. Anyway, you can say that about a lot of teams, but man was that historically terrible second half.
I remember watching that game as it happened. I’ve never seen a team double down, triple down, quadruple down, and so on on something that clearly wasn’t working. It was something to behold.
