South Sudan looks like it was missing a bunch of guys. Carlik Jones and Marial Shayok for sure. Maluch could’ve helped too.

I thought there was a guy drafted last month from Guinea, but I can’t think of his name. Or maybe I’m confusing Maluch in my head.

For the international tournaments outside of the World Cup and Olympics, there is a little bit of an awkward cliff where a country can have really good players but not enough depth, and so their good players skip the tournament because they are important to their club team, whereas other countries get their best players to play. Belgium is having this issue too with Eurobasket, they don’t get De Ridder or their NBA guys.
