Awesome. I bet Meyinsse is going to have an awesome time in Japan. His career has had him go to some great and different places. Look forward to hearing about this latest adventure on a future podcast!

Tomas Woldetensae is practicing with Pallacanestro Reggiana… it’s a trial after his release from the National Team. It still seems like he’ll end up at Bologna, but who knows…

Tobey doing his thing again for Slovenia in a blowout win over Angola in Olympic qualifying. Looks like they play again tomorrow against Poland. Box score for today’s game here.

Real question could a Slovenia run fuel a Mike Tobey NBA run ala Anthony Gil with the Zards last season?

Tobey had a bit of a rough shooting day in today’s game, but Slovenia won easily and he started. Really hope they end up making the Olympics. Would be awesome to watch him there.

Being a big and playing alongside Luka gotta be a treat, you’re guaranteed 3 easy oops a game at least.

Tobey had a pretty monster game overall. Led the team in scoring. Now they’re only one win away from the Olympics!

Tobey and Luka vs Lithuania today 12:30 on ESPN+. Winner makes the Olympics. There’s probably a stream online. Will be interesting to see Tobey vs an NBA frontcourt in Sabonis and Valencunis.

This Slovenia-Lithuania game is great. Toby struggling with some early foul trouble and going up against Valanciunas, but still looked solid out there. Luka is on another level right now though. Think he’s gotten at least four and-1s.
