Yeah there were lots of complaints across fan bases and coaches the past few years, more than usual. (e.g. not just our team being worse)

A lot of officials who were really trying to do a good job got out because their efforts werenât rewarded by their bosses.
Lots of politics and backslapping in officiating ranks in college.

Iâm happy we won. But regardless of the outcome, I donât see how you can look at this trip and not feel encouraged (although Iâm sure there are many here who wonât). To me, this squad clearly has more upside than last yearâs, and more options to employ when things arenât going well. Shedrick seems more polished, Caffaro seems more aggressive, and Traudt and McKneely look like theyâll be real contributors. Iâm excited for the season.
