Reece is the only definite.
With this roster, who starts is going to mean next to nothing.
Or true if it means getting out to the slow starts of the last 2 years every game.
Fun trip hope the guys got to bond and enjoy themselves. Biggest upside was the first yrs getting some real game time with teammates before the season kicks.
I choose to take this at surface level, a group of college kids having an experience few will ever experience and creating lifelong memories.
That’s the stuff that builds culture and culture reigns Supreme in my world. The team will be better off for the experience.
@BDragon has morphed into @HoozGotNext with this calm non hyperbolic appraoch. F me I used to be like yall but no more
Go Hoos!
Wahoowa bby
Could all just be relative. Papi looks more fluid against a bunch of big Serbs than he does against American college kids. But hopefully you’re right.
Haha trying to keep it reall all I really know about the Italy trip is what @rushdacote posted on here. Can’t break anything down from highlights. And it’s 3 months from opening tip so lot can change. I had a whole post about all my ideas and then realized I dont know ish.
Same my man but got dam it is fun to european dream. Especially when Papi gets so excited about an 69-69 finish and BVP says Kihei had an jazillion in OT.
Here for our dudes
Second game proved there is no off-season for Papi face-mauling.
I am 100% down for Papi getting chippy and in dudes faces. Program needs more of that. Walk out on the court slug Bacot at opening tip. Set the tone gotta let em know you’re there boys
Papi swag is off the charts and unwarranted as well. 69-69
We did the opposite last year vs. UNC. Tony looked sick to his stomach at Chapel Hill by what he had witnessed.
From the limited highlights that I saw, Taine Murray looked more comfortable out there on the court.
I think his biggest issue are his stone hands… if those don’t soften up, his added movement doesn’t help too much.
Just curious if this is the most liked post in LRA history ?
The best way to neutralize Bacot is to pull him away from the basket. That’s not Papi. Maybe Shedrick if his ability to make a 3 is real. But definitely Traudt. Can help them by doubling when Bacot has the ball on offense. But he absolutely torched our bigs last year with post moves and passing. And he clogged the paint on D.
I was wondering that too. 72 likes and counting has to be the record right? The whole sequence was epic. Ending with talking to the chick at breakfast is just sublime. Should be made into a movie. Feels Superbad-esque. Maybe Traudt can star as Michael Cera.
So - for anyone who knows - how soon do these guys get their spliced up film to watch all of their mistakes from the four games? I would assume a huge benefit of a trip like this is that the young guys now have actual tape to watch and instantiate all of the things Tony has been telling them
Oh and how soon do we get the full game film too
