Hopefully be can be like a Houston big for us. Or like we used to have with Akil, DA, and Mamadi

Kalu Anya is what some on here wanted Arceneaux to be last year.

Nitpicky but Arceneaux is a perimeter player. But to your point a defensive stopper with some offensive limitation for the position.

But Anya does kind of fit the Tre King model that I’ve wanted for years now!!!

Seems average athletically for a P4 wing but he seems to have a good motor. Good depth piece.

I need to watch some film. Mostly going on others’ day so

Kind of like a Braxton Key type glue guy maybe? Similar size, excellent rebounder, great defender. And the shooting maybe like Braxton with the broken wrist? (But a little worse even)

Not as athletic as Brax but similar role I would think.

Good comp. He does seem pretty fluid defensively in the clips I’ve seen, he gets low. Not a slow moving 6’8 like a traditional PF (even though his build is closer to that).

Full game, bonus it’s against Odom.

He’s wearing the neon green shoes.

Looks about 6-6 but maybe he has a short neck. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

We were (seemingly) in desperate need of a big at the time and many were suggesting Arceneaux could/would play the 4 for us (I agree with you that he’s a perimeter player).

Won’t see anyone getting 18 boards on the Waves this year. #RollWaves

10 boards, 5 assists, 1 block, and 2 steals. Yes. Gimme.

His offense was ugly (FTs as bad as the numbers suggest) but a lot to like with his defense. Easily switchable 3-5 (maybe even 2-5), Braxton is a decent comp defensively though Anya seems longer and springier.

Sets good screens on offense and is a good passer but there’s definitely a concern around being able to scheme to his weaknesses (he’s not a threat to shoot, even in the near mid-range and obviously there’s going to be temptation to foul him near the basket).

Sorry, this is the wrong game. This is the box from the Chafetz game (the brawl game). Will find the Siegel game

Here’s the matching box score:

TJ Power led recruitment by the way.
