The mobile experience is a bit wonky at first use.

We need an actual “live” podcast to test it out for real.

I love recursive functions… but maybe you have to click “going”?

Did I miss the RickRoll stream?

Only issue I saw last night during the Proving Grounds watch party was the video stopped playing when a new message popped up. Did anyone else see that?

Mine cut off once, was watching a little delayed, but it might have been because of rhat

Sorry to say, @jazznutUVA , but I’m not seeing what this livestream functionality adds that LRA didn’t already have, and from what I can tell, it just (1) makes the screen size for posts smaller on laptop, (2) and adds another confusing chat within a chat feature, so there’s like two linear conversations in one thread, rather than one?

What’s the upside? This doesn’t really work on mobile and on a laptop, you could just open a separate tab…

That’s all from me. I’m gonna go destroy a mill (#LudditeHumor).

Yeah I agree, I don’t love it.

We reallly haven’t had a true livestream yet where an actual livestream runs and everyone is talking yet.

I hear you. I think the best use case might be some sort of LRA live event, like a podcast. I resurrected this thread because I saw you had added the functionality to the first football game, and I didn’t really understand why.

So the livestream feature is tied to the calendar feature. I’m trying to figure out how to decouple them so I can use it as an actual calendar as well.

@haney… so I just have to remove the livestream tag… I believe the chat window was removed from the gameday thread?

Yeah, that worked. Thanks for being responsive to the most cranky members here. :joy:
