With all the turmoil in the capital if McClung chooses to leave this season, would Bennett and company have an interest???

Well first off, I can’t imagine McClung would leave unless Ewing does. He sorta took a chance on Mac in the face of plenty of critics, so I’m sure they have a tight relationship.
If he were to transfer, Virginia Tech would be the overwhelming favorite. Mike Young recruited him to Wofford, and actually got his Gate City teammate Zac Ervin to commit there. Ervin flipped to Elon when Young left. I don’t know if UVA would have interest, but it probably wouldn’t matter. It’s just not a good stylistic fit.

McClung is a streaky athletic scorer who needs the ball in his hands. And he’s a liability on defense.
Does that sound like a Virginia player?
