Something about Todd Golden choosing Sublime also makes me chuckle. But in a positive way.

I had the same reaction. Clearly music is a peripheral, at best, interest of most (maybe all?) of these coaches.

In the past when Norlander has done this, TB has picked Boyz II Men, which pleases me.

I can tell which coaches are Christians, AND which are about the same age as me (and no Izzo or Calipari). Like, it does not surprise me at all the Hurley picked Pearl Jam…seems predictable.

I would have predicted Bon Jovi or Springsteen, because, you know, Jersey.

Sublime is the one choice out of all 68 that jumped out at me - also in a positive way, but pretty weird, too, considering, well, Sublime.

And I don’t know what to make of this but I’m currently listening to Prince in a random iTunes playlist and just saw the Bennett/Medved choices. Hopefully not a portent of some kind - sheesh.

Had no idea BYU was coached by a 12 year old girl. No one picking Slayer is surprising.

Niko is really going for the Minnesota job (Prince) @tlgoudy

Depends what Ed Sheeran he’s listening to. Easy to hate on the global pop star version but his music when he was coming up the ranks doing his ā€˜one man band with a loop pedal’ shows is legitimately good

What does it say about the sport that Brad Brownell is the coach with the best taste in music?

TB has mentioned liking Ed Sheeran before, so maybe Otz is really a true TB disciple.

(Or the mass appeal global star thing)

It’s over

It says your statement is false. We got Prince, Beastie Boys, Bruce, and Pearl Jam on this list man!

Shout out Shaka Smart and the other coach (forgot already) who picked Pac

I actively dislike Springsteen lol beastie boys are a nice gimmick. Nothing against Prince or Pearl Jam but I don’t really listen to them

One of the answers I respect is Earth, Wind, & Fire but it was by the two FBI poster boys so not going to shout those guys out. Props to the Matt Logie-Donte Jackson Stapleton-Jeezy matchup as well

This right here

He knows exactly where he’s from. You can leave Minnesota but Minnesota never leaves you!
