If youāre going back 23 years, Maryland has a title out of the ACC, too. Duke, UNC, Maryland, Virginia.
National Reporters: You canāt judge how good a team/conference is based on a few games in the NCAA tournament.
Also National Reporters: Virginia got blown out, see they didnāt belong in the tournament!
Drives me bonkers! Pick one narrative or the other. Going with both of them is conflicting!
Iād laugh if this didnāt feel so familiar.
Tourney opponents have taken 51.1% of their shots from 3 against NCSU and have shot 23.7% on them. Season long, teams have shot 33.6% on 3s against them. Variance!
Iāll never understand why sign stealing is considered taboo. Signals intelligence is an important part of warfare.
True story i once copped a teams entire playbook from a disgruntled player and coached up my team using it.
I have also signed up for an opposing teams internal listserv for intel.
Hmmmā¦that might be a little over the lineā¦no, Iāll allow it.
⦠and thatās why you are the Shenzen Head Coach right there.
Belichick got his whole gimmick from me
Mike Leach would have had a field day with you. haha Thatās still one of my favorite sports storiesā¦the fake playbook drop.
Lol i love that story. It didnāt work as well as i hoped fwiw. But helped a little
Especially when it is condescending Shire of Duke. Guy is inpossible to watch talk
Guarantee Scheyer has horrible breathā¦.
Proly makes his assistant carry his mints
Anyone remember the time Mailk Sealy left his Pacers playbook at the airport and someone gave it to Don Imus, who proceeded to read it on air (Pacers were playing the Knicks in the playoffs)
Never heard that. RIP MSealy though
Yeah, sad story. I was just googling to look for the Imus story and didnāt realize it was driving home form Garnettās bday party
Not quite stealing signs but when I was in HS I knew a guy that played football for STAB. STAB played VSDB in football. VSDB sent plays in with a base drum. STAB got wind of this and had their band or some staffer just bang a drum the whole game.
