I never pick Houston that far because my perception is that they donât have the hoops skill to win past a certain round. Maybe the kid who got injured last year woulda been the exception?
I havenât watched them much this year, but whoâs that transcendent guy? Uzan? Cryer? It probably has to be ArcenauxâŚ
I kinda feel similar about Auburn. If they win, itâll be because Tahaad went off, no offense meant to Broome
Yeah, was gonna say, it has some zone characteristics (much like a prime TB pack line did). Teams end up taking a lot of threes against them after they get locked out of the paint, but they donât hit as many as they would on an average team because they are hard threes. And they are masters at closing open windows for passes so quick, it lets them take more risks with their ball screen coverage.
Malik Mack is more than fine. Heâs looked good in this game so far (8 pts, 1-2 from 3). A lot of is just bad coaching by Cooley with lazy and simple ball movement.
Iâd be fine with him and Rowan Brumbaugh running the 1-2 for us.
Also Epps is out with âillnessâ
edit: what are these offensive sets? Has Cooley always been this cooked of a coach? At least Malik Mack having a good game makes this game somewhat palatable and Georgetown getting rolled will kill his will to stay with Cooley
Canât believe you missed an opportunity to talk about Dan Skillings going for 12 pts and 3 stls.
Or the ghost ship UCF team that started two players currently in the portal beating the ghost ship Oregon St team that lost their 3 top scorers to the portal.
Definitely some games that are technically basketball going on in the Crown.
